Dustin Insley's journey into the financial services industry has always been guided by a strong sense of community and a desire to make a meaningful impact. Born and raised in the beautiful state of Hawaii, he learned early on the importance of serving others and doing the right thing—values that continue to shape his personal and professional life today.

Before entering the finance industry, Dustin worked in hospitality, where he developed valuable skills in customer service, communication, active listening, and adaptability—skills that would prove invaluable in his future career in finance. In 2016, he began his career in the financial services industry, driven by the belief that becoming a financial advisor would allow him to make a positive impact in his community. He joined a large, well-known investment firm, where he expanded his knowledge, gained invaluable experience, managed a local office, and served hundreds of clients.

Over the years, Dustin’s love and passion for his role as a Financial Advisor have only grown. The industry itself is constantly evolving, and his clients' needs evolve as well. Dustin finds joy in partnering with individuals, families, and businesses—offering his support by providing financial guidance that helps them work toward their goals at every stage of life. He believes everyone’s story is unique and that they deserve an investment plan centered around their needs. Dustin always strives to be relatable and to translate financial concepts in a way that everyone can understand. Whether it's setting up retirement accounts, saving for college, preparing for or living in retirement, or developing strategies for protecting or transferring what clients have saved—Dustin is here for it.

More recently, he made the decision to partner with Cary Stamp & Co., where he believes he can build on his previous experience and continue to grow as a Financial Advisor to better serve clients. This decision has truly been the “next step” in Dustin’s journey as an advisor, and he is excited for what the future holds and how he will continue to serve clients in a meaningful way.

After living in Hawaii for nine years, Dustin’s family made the move to Northern Michigan, and they immediately fell in love with everything the area has to offer. The winters, of course, are a dramatic change from what they were used to! Dustin and his wife, Kate, are blessed with four amazing kids: Emalia, Stevie, Wyatt, and Willow.

When he’s not in the office, you’ll find Dustin working on his hobby farm, which is full of animals and an endless list of chores. As a family, the Insleys love lake and beach days, camping adventures, all things baseball/softball/t-ball, and, of course, the inevitable snow day.

Today, Dustin’s focus is simple: he partners with his clients and uses an established process to help them design a plan that works toward their desired financial goals.
