William Johnson is originally from Detroit, Michigan and was raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He attended Principia College in Illinois, where he played tennis and studied abroad in six different countries. With a strong interest in history and global cultures, William moved to Spain after college, where he worked in education, earned a master’s degree in Spanish Language, and began his career in wealth management remotely.
Most recently, William has held client servicing and relationship-focused roles, where he enjoys helping individuals understand complex financial topics and guiding them toward thoughtful decisions surrounding retirement.
As Partnership Coordinator for Cary Stamp & Co. in the Traverse City region, William focuses on supporting local partnerships, strengthening community relationships, and enhancing the firm’s presence throughout Northern Michigan. He was drawn to the role by the firm’s emphasis on values, long-term relationships, and a commitment to excellence and continued education.
Outside of work, William enjoys staying active, spending time in nature, listening to music, and being with friends and family.
