Originally born in New York and raised primarily in Charlotte, North Carolina, Mackenzie grew up moving between the East Coast, Texas, and eventually living abroad—an experience that taught her adaptability and the value of building meaningful connections wherever she goes. She is excited to now plant roots in Traverse City and contribute to a community that values growth, balance, and connection.
Mackenzie is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where she studied Communications and Media. Her career path has always been shaped by a passion for blending creativity, strategy, and human connection. She is committed to helping clients feel informed, confident, and supported, especially when it comes to big-picture planning and long-term goals. This passion drew her to the world of finance, where she can support others in ways that are both practical and thoughtful.
Before joining Cary Stamp & Co., Mackenzie gained internship experience at the intersection of marketing, real estate, and finance. She worked with both a midsized real estate investment trust (REIT) and a fintech company in New York, contributing to client-facing initiatives such as preparing investor materials, creating marketing campaigns, and crafting messaging that simplified complex financial concepts. These roles reinforced her belief in the power of strong communication to build trust and clarity, a philosophy she now brings to her work at Cary Stamp & Co.

Outside the office, Mackenzie is an avid distance runner and outdoor enthusiast who loves road trips to new hiking trails and hidden natural gems. She is also a huge movie buff, and on one of the rare days she's indoors, you can usually find her unwinding with a great film.
