Marching Into A Season Of Giving!

This March, through our program Cary Stamp Cares, we were fortunate enough to be a part of three fantastic charity events. On March 3rd, a few lucky members of our office were able to attend the 2nd annual Golf and Give, an event created by the group Suits for Seniors. This group, headed by founder and CEO Jervonte “Tae” Edmonds, focuses on providing at-risk high school seniors with an eight-week mentorship program that focuses on teaching leadership, finance, and interpersonal skills. Upon completion of the program, students are gifted a custom-tailored suit to help them project the confidence they acquired throughout their eight weeks of mentorship. The Golf and Give event, hosted at the Drive Shack of West Palm Beach, allowed donors to safely socialize while engaging in a friendly long drive competition. Our office’s very own Jack Schanne ended up taking home the title of Long Drive Champion, with an impressive distance of 314 yards!

On March 26th, our team was able to support the Furry Friends Adoption Clinic and Ranch during the 2nd annual Pull for Paws, held at the South Florida Shooting Club. The event, which included a silent auction, raffle prizes, and, of course, the shot competition, raised over $35,000 to benefit the Shelter to Service Dog Program. This service rescues and trains shelter dogs to be service animals for Veterans in need. Guests were also invited to play with some of the eligible and adorable pets currently up for adoption at Furry Friends.

We rounded out our month with a charity even that combined delicious subs with supporting families in need. On March 31st, Jersey Mikes hosted their annual Day of Giving, where 100% of the proceeds earned that day went to well deserving local charities. Our local Jupiter shop supported the Quantum House, an amazing nonprofit which supports families who have children undergoing treatment for serious medical conditions in the West Palm Beach area with lodging and other services. While the subs were as tasty as always, being able to help support families in need was much more satisfying.

Spring is the season of new growth, new life, and new beginnings. Being able to support groups who look to provide that fresh start for those who need it has made for quite a rewarding March. We can’t wait to share with you how we’ll keep spreading the message of the season in the coming months. Stay tuned!
